Our commitment

Accessibility statement

SPARK Chiropractic is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our commitment to accessibility

SPARK Chiropractic believes that every person deserves equal access to healthcare information and services. We are actively working to ensure our website conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

We view accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time task. Our team regularly reviews and improves the site to remove barriers and improve the experience for all visitors.

Measures we have taken

Keyboard navigation

All interactive elements — menus, forms, buttons, and links — are fully operable using a keyboard alone.

Screen reader support

We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and descriptive alt text so screen readers can accurately convey page content.

Color contrast

Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.

Resizable text

All text on the site can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Focus indicators

Visible focus outlines are present on all interactive elements so keyboard users can track their position on the page.

Descriptive links

Links are written to be meaningful out of context — we avoid vague labels like "click here" or "read more" without additional context.

Known limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some older content or third-party components may not yet meet all criteria. We are working to identify and address these gaps on an ongoing basis.

Third-party services embedded on our site (such as maps or review widgets) are subject to their own accessibility standards, which may be outside our direct control.
